Victoria Rock President/CEO
Beginning her career as a Court Reporter over 25 years ago, Vickie Rock became a recognized business owner of Victoria Court Reporting Service, Inc.(VCRS) and helped change the field of court reporting from an archaic and cumbersome industry to an interactive, technology-driven one, capable of producing transcripts and management records "live," even as testimony is being given and documents are submitted. Vickie lends her business and technical expertise to several advisory boards -- such as NAWBO, Career Colleges of Chicago, MacCormac Junior College and the Mid-Day Club Membership Board, STAR, National Court Reporters' Association, Chicago Metropolitan Reporters' Association and the Illinois Court Reporters' Association. Vickie has set an example for other women who are meeting daily business challenges.
Transcription services were a logical extension of her business when, in 1999, she purchased a transcription company now known as Victoria's Transcription Services, Inc. (VTS). Vickie correctly foresaw that the Internet revolution, coupled with corporations' constant search for new efficiencies, would forever alter the way companies manage information. Vickie set out to transform the way businesses -- as well as hospitals, associations and anyone with record keeping needs -- create, store and manage records. VTS is now offering verbatim transcripts and reports in record time. Retrievable anytime, anywhere. |
